On last Saturday, I did a very meaningful things first time for my life. I went to Sungei Puyu, Butterworth with my GF's family and a group of Buddhist after our dinner time.
We went there to free or release a captured animal...everyone there will donate some cash and used it to buy thousands of fish to free or release at the river of Sungei Puyu to give them a new life.
A lorry sent all the fishes to the river...before we leaving them...a monk help to chant or recite scriptures or prayers for all the fishes. After that...anyone who want to release them just take a pail to contain some fish then only let them go to the river.
Its a very meaningful ceremony for all the Buddhism.
